Stable and flexible

I bought this mount for a 60″ Vizio and it works great. After installation, I had my 14 year old son hang from it while it was fully extended; no problem. Funny thing was I went through great lengths to make sure I had the mount perfectly level and square when mounted. However, not only does this mount allow horizontal (Y-axis) rotation and vertical (X-axis) rotation, but it allows “leveling” (Z-axis) rotation after mounted by simply grabbing the TV and rotating.

Easy to use, stable, flexible. I’d buy it again.

This item was perfect for my new LCD screen t.v. I was able to hang my LCD over my fireplace with much ease and installation was a snap! The material is sturdy with a sleek finish. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to hang their LCD.

Outstanding Customer Service
When I received my first mount it was damaged in shipping. I contacted Cheetah Mounts and wxplained the problem. They asked to take a couple of photos and text back to them asap. I sent the photos and talked with a very nice young lady, who agreed that the product was damaged. She told me to call a different number on the East Coast first thing the next day. I made the call that next morning and talked to a really nice young man who emailed me a prepaid shipping label with instructions to return the damaged mount. I reorder another mount and received in two days. It was about three days later when I received credit for the first mount. It waa little upsetting when The first mount arrived damaged, but the coustomer service and turn around time was super.

Flawless!
Well packaged, good instruction manual, included all parts (screws, spacers, washers, etc.) needed for any possible compatible TV (8 different sizes of bolts!). The paper template made installation a breeze (you do need two people for large TV’s, though). Mount is PLENTY strong (it held my entire body weight from the TV side of the mount at full extension with no problem). With TV mounted, you can easily adjust forward tilt (probably better with two people – there are two bolts to hand adjust), rotational pivot (with one finger), left-right swivel (one handed), or extension (two hands). Cords are able to be hidden inside the arms of the mount.

In summary: I can’t find a single flaw with this mount!

Great value – Great product!
This mount is very sturdy and I had no problem mounting my TV to the wall. (46″ Samsung) At $200, including shipping, it is less than half the price of the similarly designed Omnimount and Peerless models, and some $400 less than the model Circuit City recommended for the model TV I have. No one in town had a similar mount for anything near this price. For the value it represents, I would recommend it to anyone trying to hang a TV on a wall.

I have never tried hanging anything heavier than a painting on a wall myself, but installed and mounted the cheetah mount myself. The included instructions, and my skill level were adequate to the task, and I do not regularly do any kind of carpentry project. Because of the weight of the mount, (46 lbs.), I do recommend having a helper to at least hold the mount while you mark the wall where you will be drilling. You will also need a helper to attach the TV to the cantilever arm.

If you need a heavy duty mount to hang a heavy TV, this is the mount for you.
