I Really like this TV

First of all there is an on/off button on the TV, YEAH!!! The picture is clear and I do notice the HD which generally was not important to me. I do my streaming on Amazon and looking up TV programs and movies is set up very user friendly on this Smart TV. I have an older LG Smart TV and the set up to stream is not as user friendly as this TV.

Great TV, Great Price!
I am extremely happy with this TV. I only use it via the Smart TV capabilities, and haven’t had any issues. Logging into my streaming apps took some time initially, but it works wonderfully. Great picture!
THE ONE TO BUY!
I did my research and decided on this LG. I was in a Taco Mac the other day and realized that all 36 TVs they had were LG! Then I read the reviews. I have had it now for 2 weeks. It replaced a Magnavox that was 3 years old. Picture just wasn’t up to par. This LG is great! Super sharp picture and the Smart TV aspect is super! It’s has the wireless internet, it immediately found my signal and hooked up. We watch a lot of NetFlix’s movies and it’s just so simple to access them!!

The speakers in the set are the weak point. I thought I could hook it up to a receiver I had for my surround, nope! It is an old system and did not have the proper connection for the Set. Not a problem, I went back and purchased the LG Sound Bar with the wireless sub. WOW! It sounds better than when I had my old surround hooked up! Spend the money and get the sound bar too! You will love the combination…I do!!

Tremendous Value

After doing plenty of research, while trying to stick to a budget, I decided to go with the LG 50LN5700. I couldn’t be more pleased. I was able to purchase the TV for $720. The picture is brilliant and the TV is loaded with features. The wireless connectivity provides access to loads of content. Just a great TV for the price point.

No need for 3D TV!
I bought 50 inch 50LN5700 LG TV last week and I have been trying it.
So far, I am loving it.

There is a upgrade version of this LG TV which features 3D and much cooler stand, but it is also 150 bucks more expensive.
As a person who tried 3D TV and have seen others who has 3D TV never using their 3D feature, don’t buy 3D TV. It’s a waste of money, even if it’s only 150 bucks more. Alot of channels are starting to drop 3D features for their channels, including ESPN. This TV is perfect for those who wants a nice quality non-3D internet ready smart TV.

Some of the features I like
– Internet connection through WIFI. This allows me to connect to me wireless router and share between my PC using the home network. I installed the Smart Share software on my PC, which allows me to share my PC contents onto the TV. This was exactly what I needed.
– I also installed LG remote app on my iphone, which allows me to move the pointer like a mouse on TV. This TV doesn’t come with LG magic remote, but it isn’t needed as iphone app is much easier to navigate.
– I also have youtube app on my iphone connected with the TV, so that I can watch youtube on my TV when I choose a video on my iphone yotube app.

There are many other apps in the LG smart world including amazon prime, pandora etc. I didn’t download them as I don’t use them, but just knowing they are available is quite nice.

If there is con about this TV, it’s the shipping. I use Amazon Prime and the TV arrive 3 days late.
