Excellent TV for a very reasonable price !!
Few weeks ago, I had bought the LG 47LN5400 LCD-LED HDTV (no smart and no 3D features) thinking that I did not need a TV with smart and 3d features. I was disappointed with the picture quality and had to return it.
After doing a minor search, I went for LG 47LN5700. This TV has the best picture quality with nice smart features. I cannot stop watching HD videos on this TV.
For those who are looking for a smart LCD-LED HDTV without 3D, this TV is more than just perfect !!
Really love this TV
From the (admittedly moderate amount of) research I did, this TV had the best price for all its features and specs. The picture is great, the Netflix and amazon Prime Video software are REALLY handy, and the sound is way better than I expected for TV speakers.
Nice TV for the price
We were looking for a quality TV to replace a Toshiba…have had nothing but bad luck with Toshiba. A friend recommended LG and we are very happy with the TV so far. I would recommend this to others.

I’m a casual TV watcher and I use a lot of the web services like Netflix, Amazon and YouTube. The picture is amazing and sharp on both DirecTV and web services, speakers are reasonable for a TV. Interface and speed of the apps is great and LG has an awesome controller app for the iPhone and iPad. It has a sufficient number of HDMI and USB ports. Paying a bit more than $600 for this, in my mind, is a steal.
I Really like this TV
First of all there is an on/off button on the TV, YEAH!!! The picture is clear and I do notice the HD which generally was not important to me. I do my streaming on Amazon and looking up TV programs and movies is set up very user friendly on this Smart TV. I have an older LG Smart TV and the set up to stream is not as user friendly as this TV.

I am extremely happy with this TV. I only use it via the Smart TV capabilities, and haven’t had any issues. Logging into my streaming apps took some time initially, but it works wonderfully. Great picture!
THE ONE TO BUY!
I did my research and decided on this LG. I was in a Taco Mac the other day and realized that all 36 TVs they had were LG! Then I read the reviews. I have had it now for 2 weeks. It replaced a Magnavox that was 3 years old. Picture just wasn’t up to par. This LG is great! Super sharp picture and the Smart TV aspect is super! It’s has the wireless internet, it immediately found my signal and hooked up. We watch a lot of NetFlix’s movies and it’s just so simple to access them!!
The speakers in the set are the weak point. I thought I could hook it up to a receiver I had for my surround, nope! It is an old system and did not have the proper connection for the Set. Not a problem, I went back and purchased the LG Sound Bar with the wireless sub. WOW! It sounds better than when I had my old surround hooked up! Spend the money and get the sound bar too! You will love the combination…I do!!
