Samsung UN32F5000 32 Inch 1080p 60Hz – The UN32F5000 features a Clear Motion Rate of 120, allowing you to experience sharp picture quality, even when you are watching fast-moving images like sports or action movies. Clear Motion Rate was developed to accurately measure how well a LCD or LED TV can depict fast-moving images. Previously, motion-clarity was calculated by the frame refresh rate alone. But CMR offers a more complete measure by calculating 3 factors: frame refresh rate, image processor speed and backlight technology. LED TVs with a CMR of 120 can display action-packed movement with sharp detail and vivid contrast while eliminating image distortion.

Samsung UN32F5000 32 Inch 1080p 60Hz Reviews :
Great picture & bright screen. Has a transformer
This review is for the 22″ version.
This tv is wall mounted in our kitchen, which is very well lit & surrounded by windows, yet the screen is bright and colorful. I have both a PS3 and AppleTv hooked up to it, and the picture rivals that of our much more expensive 3yr old 40″ Sony Bravia (which was $1100), the colors don’t have quite the depth of the Sony, but the clarity of this TV is better and moving images have more separation from the background image.
One complaint I do have is there is no mention of this unit being a lo-volt (12v DC) model. Meaning it requires an included transformer to step down the 120v AC power. This isn’t a real problem unless you are wall mounting the tv and suddenly realize that you now have to contend with concealing a 1.5″x1″x3.5″ transformer. I almost returned the tv based on this alone, however, the cord on the transformer was long enough that I could conceal the transformer in the cabinet below with my other A/V equipment and pull the wire up throughout the wall with the HDMI cable. This actually worked out to my advantage because the lo-volt wire is much smaller than a typical AC cord so it was easier to hide the wire from the back of the TV to the wall.
As far as the other capabilities, I have it hooked via an antenna to the local over the air translator system system. The tuner does a good job and is at least as good as our main TV (a 3 year old Visio).
I like the fact that this TV will handle 2 HDMI inputs in addition to a component/composite video input. It can read a USB memory stick as well. Both the HDMI and Component video inputs give a very good picture. I have played with the USB input a little and have verified that it recognizes and plays AVI and MP3 files. I have not tried all types of audio and video files to determine which it recognizes but I have verified that it does not recognize wave files or H264 compressed video files.
Sound is what you would expect from the tiny built-in speakers but is much better through the headphone jack.
The only negatives I have found to date are the location of the headphone jack (on the backside of the set where it is hard to get to in my application) and the limited ability to recognize many audio and video formats (Come on, it’s only software). For my application, though, these are only quibbles and not significant disadvantages.
Highly Recommended with the caveats listed.
