Great small tv
-Picture is crisp and colors are good.
-Big plus for me is that it had a headphone jack, although it is in back and I would have preferred front).
-In the box there was an abbreviated form of the manual – apparently there is a longer version which I found online and downloaded to understand what all the buttons were on the remote.
-Mostly the directions are easy to understand.
-If you had a really old tv and were used to connecting one end of a black cable to vcr and the other to a tv and putting it on channel 3 or 4, I don’t think that will work with this tv. You will need the kind of cable that has multiple plugs.
-The other big concern for me is that I needed the tv to get good reception over the air without cable or dish – just simple over the air with rabbit ears. Not all televisions have sensitive enough tuners anymore because the companies assume people will use cable or dish. I had to return a different brand tv because of this issue, but Samsung does have sensitive tuners on their television sets. Actually, I can get a few extra stations that my analog with converter box didn’t pull in.
For under $200 what’s not to like?
Samsung is the leader in LED TVs. I already owned a 32-inch Samsung LED TV, which is two years old. It has worked great, so I thought I’d try this small 22-inch Samsung LED TV in the bedroom. The display is excellent and the unit is extremely light. Let’s hope this one lives up to Samsung’s reputation for quality LED TVs.
Quality and superior product
Clear pict urge, great color and contrast. Uses. Low amount of energy. Samsung was the first to make LED TV and they continue to rule he market in quality and innovation. If you have a Samsung phone or tablet you cn even use them as a remote or watch TV on them using the link to the TV. Great product
Beautiful color
I got the 22 for my kitchen, and it is perfect. Beautiful color, matte finish so reflections aren’t bad. I have 4 Samsung TV’s, and this year’s F series is easier to calibrate than past years. I use the standard mode and love the rich, sharp picture, was very quck and easy to get dialed in. Consumer reports settings work great for the movie mode, they give the picture on this set their highest rating. I also like the toggle switch on the back, very easy to access and use.
Great bedroom TV, console and laptop monitor..
Excellent HD picture quality. I used it in my bedroom. I also use it with my laptop and PS3/Xbox 360. Very little difference from an actual HD monitor. The 2 HDMI port make it easy to switch from STB cable to laptop/console display via remote. For the price you can’t beat it. Samsung makes high quality HDTV’s period! I highly recommend this.
Great size for a kitchen TV
I needed to update from an older model 19 inch TV for my kitchen. I started looking at newer 19 inch TV’s, and realized my older TV had a larger frame around the screen. So I thought I could easily buy a larger screen with less frame. That is exactly what this Samsung has, a very small frame, it’s all screen. My older TV also could not get HD, so the picture was smaller than the screen size. This HD Samsung has a great clear picture. I needed to adjust the sound, the factory setting sounded tinny, but with a few adjustments the sound is good. (I think I am spoiled by surround sound on the family room TV) I also have not watched any movies on this Samsung, mostly news and talk shows, so the sound isn’t as important to me.
I read all the reviews on Amazon before I make any purchase, and this TV has not disappointed. If you need a small TV, in my case for the kitchen, at a reasonable price, this TV is a good buy. My son, who does my hook-ups, was impressed with the picture, and the easy set up. I would recommend this Samsung to anyone looking for a great TV at a great price.
